Tryouts for the Spring 2027 Season on Sunday, 11/15/2026!
Please attend the assigned grade level tryout time. Plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled time to register and gear up. Athletes need to be DRESSED AND READY TO START at the times listed.
Sunday, November 15th
MT City Elementary School Gym: 11 McClellan Creek Rd, Clancy, MT
- 11:30-12:15 pm: U10: 2nd, 3rd & 4th graders
- *Mandatory Parent Meeting at 11:45-12:15 in Montana City School lobby
- 12:30-2:00 pm: U12: 5th & 6th graders
- *Mandatory Parent Meeting at 12:40-1:10 in Montana City School lobby
*Due to limited space ONLY players trying out will be allowed in the gyms.

Prickly Pear Elementary Gym: 325 Academic Way, East Helena, MT
- Round 1: all players attend Round 1.
- 3:00-5:30 pm: U14: 7th & 8th grade
- There may be a second round on Monday, November 16th at Central Elementary 7:30-9:00pm which will be communicated on Sunday, Nov 15th
- *Mandatory Parent Meeting at 3:15-3:45 in Prickly Pear Elem. cafeteria
- 6:00-7:30 pm: U16: 9th & 10th grade
- Parent Meeting offered at 6:15-6:45pm in Prickly Pear Elem. cafeteria
- Players being considered for the U17 National Team will be asked to stay through the next tryout time, 7:30-9:00 pm.
- 7:30-9:00 pm: U17-11th graders & U18- 12th grade
- Due to limited space ONLY players trying out will be allowed in the gyms.
Player Selection will be based upon the following criteria:
- A player’s performance during the tryout – skill level, effort, competitiveness and interaction with other athletes.
- Our perception of that player’s athletic potential – what she may be able to do over the course of the season.
- Our perception of the coachability of the player.
- Evaluations of players during the past club season, camps or the current high school season.
- Being in good standing with Capital City Volleyball Club , AAU, and USA Volleyball.
- Past history of parental involvement or behavior.
