2021 Season Update March 30, 2021

Hi Capital City Vball Families,

2021 Spring Skill Development League Registration is now open!

Yay! Helena gyms will be opening next week so as communicated we all need to move swiftly to get kiddos back into some volleyball fun. As noted this will be skills development time with a focus on team skill sets and will be open to all athletes grades 5th through 12th. This Spring Training League will be approximately 4 weeks with 2 training nights per player per week. (This is what a normal spring season month would look like.) There are some tourneys in Montana but are extremely limited and most are full. If a tourney option becomes available we will communicate at that time.

Next Steps for you:

1) Please register your child via the link below. (Again, grades 5-12th are eligible.)
- Payment is due at registration and is non-refundable.
(Except for injury with doctors note)
- Registration is open till Thursday, April 1st at midnight. This is a hard close.

2) Next, await skill dates and times as this will be determined after registrations are complete.

We respectfully ask holding off emailing us your night and time preference until registrations are calculated.

Cheers,

Jonie & Tasha

2021 Season Update March 1, 2021

We hope you are warm and healthy.   Like many of you we have been patiently waiting to get back in the gym with your young athletes and play some volleyball.  2021 spring season will look a bit different than normal.  With outside groups not able to get in the public school gyms our Capital City Challenge tournament has been cancelled along with the many other Montana tournaments across the state.

One exception may be the Billings Super Regional in May at the Metra (we await more info on that tourney as it's not played at a public school gym and isn't until May)

Here's what's being planned:

1) Cap City Volleyball Club is teaming with the Helena Salvation Army to provide training / games for the Cap City Volleyball / Helena area kiddos.  The details of this spring training season are being finalized with registration coming soon.  (For planning purposes we are looking at mid-March through mid to late April much like a regular club season. )   Stay tuned for more details.

2) Big Sky Club in Bozeman has rented a couple private gyms and is going to run small scrimmages for college-prep players. This will be invitation only scrimmages so we will await invites on that and will contact families as the info comes into us.

While not having a regular, normal club volleyball season is disappointing to say the least, we are excited to find some type of volleyball activity for your young athletes!

Stay tuned for more details!

Cheers,

Jonie
